Covid truly did a number on many of us when it comes to not just the care of our skin from mascne (shudder the thought) but also the dreaded zoom. Where falling in love with your face in pixelated glory really is the last thing you want on a Monday. Enter in your skin care specialists and beauticians. These are amazing people to support you with creating a routine that will give you glowing and healthy skin.
Now what about me? Your trusty Aesthetics Nurse who you came to see for some wrinkle management? Or just a bit of a straighter nose. And I notice your skin which is much more visible than the bit of cheek filler you wanted for some pesky lines on the corner of your mouth (amazing choices by the way). But I treat you with some amazing filler and quick Botox treatment and you're on your way.
There. Right there. I did you a disservice.
My utmost aim and modus opernandus is facial rejuvenation and ensuring you are loving what you see in the mirror. A majority of this is skin care. The quick fix when you visit an aesthetics practice is the volumisation from fillers and the smoothening of wrinkles from Botox. But what about the journey. What about the dark eyes, pigmentation, dull skin and even more acne scars and menopausal skin? Decades of damage.
So that's it. I promise to no longer let you down. Every session you have with me I will ask about your skin care routine, ensure you are using the right products and even more that you are happy with the skin you are in. What noticed in some with having gorgeous lip fillers is you still see the makeup cracking on your skin and the scarring present. Sadly you don't enjoy the full beauty of those puckers on there.
The skin care world is truly a minefield and don't get me started on cosmeceuticals versus over the counter products..... Actually you might in blog number 4/5. I want to hold your hand through this and ensure results in my recommendations from skin care to skin boosters.
Don't let me off the hook!
