This topic has been a huge part of consultations and a regular one at that. If you aren't having the question asked when is your next event prior to an Aesthetic treatment then I might have dropped the ball. But actually dang it its not wholly my fault. During a consultation say for instance Botox. Which will feature heavily here. Botox has been deemed the King of all treatments with amazing results with minimal to zero downtime!
But were you to be unaware of the clearly detailed adverse effects like take bruising and swelling, the bane of all lip fillers. And scheduled an event after your botox then thats kinda your fault here. So with botox you can experience bruising because guess what theres going to be a needle to your face and you have thousands of blood vessells there and they bleed should they be near your point of injection therefore causing a bruise.
Right so lets get Seasonal ready now that we know the slight adverse reaction to Botox of bruising so lets not have our Botox a week before an event. Yet I will still advise you to have your botox a few weeks prior to an event. And that is the other adverse effect of Spock brows (the surprised look on the forehead but just above the brows) or a ptosis (the brows droop). So I am mainly taking about upper face botox of which these are generally the most that can happen based on doseage and positionally.
The need to wait for your botox to fully kick in and time to adjust is 3-4 weeks. So if you are planning an event especially if having your frontalis done, or you just want your skin looking as fresh as it can be. My advice would be having your treatment done approximately 4 weeks prior to your event. So timeline my good friends is end of November and at the latest the first 2 weeks of December. And not only will you be party ready, looking fresh faced and makeup laying perfectly. But you have avoided the typical botox complications and adverse effects.
If you think I have missed anything with the timeline have a look at the infographics I put together. This runs through the ideal time to have your Botox, lip fillers and Skin care with Christmas being the event time.
